The old silver mine “Blessing of God” in Haslach-Schnellingen is one of the most important historic mines in the Black Forest. Even in Badnerlied it is sung.
The Pit “Blessing of God” is a testimony of a 800 year old mining. On three soles, silver-bearing heavy and fluvial paths in rare beauty are unlocked in the pit. Crystal drifts, sinters and stalactites, which almost no other visitor mine in Baden-Württemberg can offer, as well as tunnels carved out with mallets and irons in the best possible condition are just as much a part of the mine’s treasures as are historic doorstep shelters.
